Cycling for Re-cycle and YAT

I smashed my target of £1 for every kilometre and raised over £8,000.  A huge thank you to everyone who supported me and these two great charities.

This cycle odyssey is about bikes and adventure and there are two charities that do great work in both these areas.  If you are able to sponsor a few miles of my trip, you’ll help me to keep those wheels rolling.

RE-CYCLE – take donated bikes and reduce landfill and by refurbishing them and sending them to Africa they can change lives by helping children get to school, reduce travel time to work, carry heavy loads of water and food and give families extra time to earn, learn and enjoy life.

Many young people, for a variety of reasons, often do not have the opportunity to start the ‘believe – achieve’ process and make the most of their lives.

The Youth Adventure Trust provides young people between 11 and 14 years old a chance to try new things and challenge themselves. The programme enables them to experience success, learn to go beyond their own expectations and grow in confidence.
